About Jonathan Cortez !

Jonathan Cortez is musics' biggest fan. Born Jan. 5th 1980 to New Yorican (Puerto Ricans born in New York) parents the Bronx native was born with the arts and entertaining in his veins. His mother Soraida an artist and his father Michael a professional championed boxer, he was always surrounded by great talent. Growing up with music always playing in the house, Jonathans' grass roots of oldies doo-wop, motown, and all songs classic began at an early age.

As a child he was surrounded by singers, musicians, family and friends that would get together and play music and sing accapella to all their favorite oldies songs. As his ear for harmony and song developed he would soon take the reigns as lead singer among the family and sing at numerous social events.
